Steve Tyler just took delivery of a special order $1.1 million Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.

The car is the worlds fastest street legal production car with a top speed of 275 mph. Just beating the Bugatti Veyron which tops out at 267 mph. It will accelerate to 200 mph in 15.9 seconds. How’s that for fast.

While the Venom GT coupe version costs $950,000 this was a special order. While $150,000 extra may seem like a lot to pay for a removable roof. John Hennessey explained what went into Tyler’s custom order. “We had to make a few structural changes to our integrated rollcage in order to be able to fit the removable top,” Hennessey said. “This increased the weight of our vehicle by about 30 pounds to a curb weight of 2743 pounds (1244 kilograms). We decided to increase the Venom GT’s power to 1244 bhp to maintain our 1 horsepower per 1 kilogram power to weight ratio.”
